Guess I couldnt keep quiet very long. I read the rule and it makes perfect sense. That said however, I've seen at least 3 or 4 other avatarts, no pun intended that depict female forms/shapes/bodies etc which are sexual in nature. Personally as an ardent admirer of the female physique I think any good looking female is sexual in nature. Starting with my wife just in case she reads this. Cars and babes go together like beer and chips. SO do all get removed?
I thought we were all adults here but I guess as someone pointed out children may browse this site so content should be controlled. I also agree with the corporate censorship idea. Am I making sense? I still think lifetime is a long time, perhaps we should sign an agreement upon joining the site with all the rules explained so no one would have an excuse.

[QUOTE=PhotoVette1]Besides, if you wanna see Girls On Corvettes, then you can always visit my new site: http://www.myspace.com/girlsoncorvettes

First I would like to say PhotoVette1 your site should read "Girl on Corvette" Nova although very pretty is to date your only model. You better look for another job.

Second regarding Yellow77 or D-Boy what ever his handle is. To get banded for life for an avatar of a women w/a painted on swim suit which showed less then some pic's of members girl friends washing their vettes. Is strange. Someone had it in for the kid. I'm not saying that he added a lot to the forum but freedom of speech is in our constitution. It's what makes us Americans. Its why we send of sons and daughters overseas to fight for others freedom. To band this kid for life just for his apprecation of someone's art work is non-American its against our constitution and everything we believe in.

I have seen many suggestive emoticons.

Give this a thought....if your kids were looking for good looking girls/boys pictures on the internet, do you think they are going to browse CF avitars or threads? Kids are very, very, very computer savvy....don't be fooled. What they have seen here is nothing compared to what they may have seen browsing the net. We used to have Playboy..they have the internet.

Yes, let us keep this site family friendly, but let's not be blind to the reality of the times.

Doubtful, unless yellow or tony lived across town from me. Very different posting styles, anyway.

Durango must have said something to either the mods or in his thread to take this to the level we are assuming it has been taken to. I wouldn't think his avaitar should get him banned, only warned about future ones. He must have called someone out. I would like a statement of fact from the powers that be, but since it is their site, they can make the rules & refuse to discuss the issue.

It doesn't matter what you think, it's not your forum.

It's been many years since I registered and maybe you n00bies can remember better, but I think you checked a little box titled "aggree" and agreed to the terms and conditions of the forum when you registered. What do you need a reading tutor to explain the rules to you? Read the fine print.

[QUOTE=Jughead]It doesn't matter what you think, it's not your forum.

maybe it doesnt matter what any of us think, and be sure neither what you've just expressed above, infact it's not your forum either, jughead, and, following this scheme, nobody will pay a $$hit of what i'm just writing here of course.

said this, it's cristal clear that's totally useless and a waste of time to talk in this forum, or at least with part of its members, about any iussue if not strictly 'corvette'...

and i really hope one of the mods will finally put an end to this thread which has proven to be just a waste of bandwith and a dialog among deaf.

There has to be a line somewhere. I appreciate the standards of this forum. I have been to others where it has really gone down hill.
Keep up the good work.

You're wrong , it does matter what I think , I'm entitled to my opinion as you are yours. Opinions are what makes this and most other forums run. Probably most of the threads on here are one member asking another his opinion of a particular problem or an opinion on which vendor to use or an opinion on what color steering wheel to put in or whats the best way to do something.
And if me being a member here for only 2 + years makes me a nOObie then so be it.
What you are correct on is it's their forum and they can do what they want. Doesnt make it right, just makes it theirs.
Personally , I didnt agree with his choice of avatar and now he probably regrets it also,
