Tomorrow is our 40th wedding anniv...since 1979, Judy has been a very good sport regarding this vette hobby...Begining 27 years ago she drove our camper to autocross events helping us set up race courses, cooking meals, overnighting in parking lots. But she loves road trips..our first was San Diego-Crater Lake,Oregon..our next biggest was 7,000 mile cross country San Diego-Virginia and many 500-700 mile trips in between, never complaining about the uncomfortable 78 passenger seat...She drives the 78 occasionally today...but will not drive the 69 as it "scares" her...someday ???

I've told this story before with little fanfare. But when you think of the odds.....
Anyway, We bought our '72 in 1989. When I got around to start the restification, I dropped the tank and lo and behold, the build date on the tank sticker was the very day and year of our marriage
How could I ever sell this car?
40 freaking years??? !!!! Zowie!! You guys were old married folks by the time I got married.... and that was 25 years ago!!
Congrats! Start planning the big bash for 50!
Hey..she is heading in your direction Oct 8...road trip with our youngest son to see our oldest son in Virginia...I get to stay behind feeding the cat and painting the hacienda...and putting a rad in HER 78... They will be going I-40 most of the way...
Congratulations!!! It took me two tries to find a girl who could live with me and the '78, but the three of us are real happy now. In 35 years I'll post about our 40th anniversary.

You will make it !! Most important of all is communication and spending time together...we have many friends...but our most enjoyable times are getting out and doing things together...and she finally forgave me for cutting 9 inches off her broom to make a clutch alignment tool...
