pump while cranking for about 5-10 seconds when I'ts stat for a few weeks.

How many of you have electric pumps? Mine does, so as soon as I turn the key to on or start it begins pumping and priming the bowls. I would imagine that helps a lot too.

Mine has the same start-up it had new. I crank it over till the oil-pressure gauge wakes up. Then I stop, give 2 squirts of gas, hit the key and it fires right up. No squirt when warm.
