Actually, those fins may now be considered as "cool". Note that NASCAR now uses pretty much that same fin

So it comes down to what you assumed I meant by slight. The deal was made so I would not let on how much I paid.

I personally am happy with my progress as some of the things I am working on are taking time. Maybe the accessorizing is a bit much for some of you but the car is mine and I want to personalize it as such.

The 405 won't go in until fall when I do the paint.

Based on the comment here and in the thread "Help the Corvette forum" I take it the principle of mutual respect doesn't hold water with you?

Hey Durango Boy when you have a chance can you post a picture of the new tail lights with the lenses on? I want to see what the finished work looks like…I may get myself a set of these lights…but I have the reverse lights on the inner sockets?
Do you know if they will fit in the other style tail lights? Your lenses appear to have a little more room behind them.

Before people start ripping out their factory tail lights, I suggest they check the state/federal laws regarding legality. I've been checking some of them and they vary greatly from state-to-state. No sense in getting a ticket when you can avoid it.

Pretty sure a Lincoln Mk IV would have a mechanical fan...

Speaking of mutual respect. . .I don't believe that installing these "five times brighter than the 12 LED bulbs I had" tail lights is too respectful of your fellow motorist. I know I wouldn't want be sitting behind a car equipped with these lights at a stoplight! I'm guessing these will only PO everybody that happens to be following you.
