Well geez DB...he's only been here a year and hasn't been exposed to your magnificent brilliance as long as so many others have. Plus he didn't fill out his age on his personal info, so I can't even guess if he's old enough to drive or a retired geezer like me. BTW...post counts are PUBLIC knowledge and not classified info.

No one meant for profiles to be classified. Why do you judge people by their post count or time on the forum?

Tsk tsk DB...you're all confused. I'm RoboDep, not Judge Dredd

I don't judge anyone. I simply form opinions of them based on what and how they post and then check to see if they have any legitimate experience. Post counts are important only when people have intelligence backing the numbers. Otherwise, post counts can be real misleading. A person can have a whole bunch of post counts and pretty stars under his name, and not know crap about what he's talking about. Believe it or not, there are people like that in this very thread!!! They post and post and post but say relatively little as far as useful content. They post in every thread on the forum, but most of the time it's worthless content. Just posting for the sake of seeing their posts appear. It used to be that you could look at someone with a high post/star count and pretty much figure "this guy knows his stuff". Not any more. Most of those guys left because they saw that certain individuals were becoming post hogs and posting erroneous and downright incorrect information on the forum. And it used to be that it took YEARS to have all those red white and blue stars. It seems that has changed too.

But no biggie. The forum has changed and it just takes a while for us geezers to get used to it.

dep, my half 'paisano', i see you've got plenty of sparkling stars under your name as well but ,frankly, i see no interesting 'content' in what you've said until now, at least in this thread. no offence meant, please believe me.

DB, my friend, can't you see dep is only pulling your leg in a very professional way? i'm sure he doesnt pay a $hit about your lights nor if they're dot or not dot

c'mon, i want to see a great and then go to , i'm sure quite a few members deserve (and seem in desperate need...) to spend their precious energies in a better way then typing here.

Hey Panic, great to see you back. How was your vacation? Pleasant I trust.

I have no problems with a good leg pulling, when it's done in good spirits and for fun. He does this in EVERY thread he sees me in, and it gets old. Some stalkers like movie starts, and some like Durango driving Corvette enthusiasts.

Wow.. I went on a hiatis (work accident) soon after the whole name calling/member suspension fiasco and I see it's still going strong. Poor DB, (I mean this literally) he's just a guy who likes vettes and found a way to chat with like minded people and because his job/life allows him the time to do so he's riddiculed for it. I see jelousey. Dep and posse, I know I'm young (28) and new to the forum but I am not new to the car/vette life style. I have yet to see a post by DB that is "wrong", at most it may not be relevent, such as just a little chit chat. Some times a suggestion for a problem, but nothing compleatly off base. If there is a post by DB that is, please bring it to our attention and allow him to defend it. I have nothing against anyone with the exception of those that take advantage of others (criminals and shystey types) and those that interfer with others going about their lives honestly and/or simply. Soooo... as a wise man (or not so wise) once said..."can't we all just get along."

Am considering putting blue LEDs within the existing housings, or maybe boring a small hole in the center of the plastic lens. Even just nestled in the housing unseen, they could still give some of that blue eerie glow.

As far as I can see DB is willing to help anyone who wants it and posts some great mods that some of us happen to be interested in keep it up! ...Not sure why some need to **** on his posts or anyones for that matter...(I don't remember this much of this crap going on a year ago) but I just try to ignore the butt heads and let the cream rise to the top..... Hey wait I only have 2 stars maybe what I have to say doesn't matter....

I haven't read every one of DB's posts, but I've yet to see him belittle another forum member or jump in a thread and just start slinging the mud.

Agreed. That doesn't mean he still doesn't irritate people.

Maybe he's just too much. I think if he would just give advice when he has done the job in question before or knows the answer for sure he would be more accepted by the old timers.

That being said, this thread on the spider lites is a good one.
