These bulbs are amazing. They are five times brighter than the 12 LED bulbs I had in the tail lights, and these are so much cooler looking. I will be installing these today, and will post more pics of them installed and lit up.

me neither. Do they have a lifetime warranty? If they make you more visible......how can you put a price on safety.
you think they're gonna go in the lamp housing without interference. It looks like they fold but it looks like it may be close.
I agree they increase the rear visibility by at least five times, and that's not an embellishment.
The warranty is limited lifetime, which means if they fail on their own accord then they replace them but if I break them it's my dime.
They actually fit in the housing very well and there is room for the large version whereas I got the mediums.
They do collapse too, for installing from the rear. You can remove the socket itself, put the bulb in, collapse it, and put the socket back in. Saves from having to take the cover off.
Also, they may require inline resistors, which I already installed, for the signal flashers to work properly.
Okay, here's a preliminary pic of the SpiderLite exposed next to the two lensed bulbs, and then a pic with the lens in place. See how much brighter they are?
Hah hah, that's actually where I just tossed a bunch of the stuff that was on my work bench when I cleaned it off to work on some large parts and brackets.
Thats what a corvette specialty shop would charge for an 1157 bulb replacement.
This is all starting to make sense to me. The reason for the dual alternators is to supply enough power for the $200 tail light bulbs. The Mark IV fan is to cool the engine which is overheating because its trying to spin the dual alternators.

That is funny. Sounds like something i'd say but nicer.
Edit: I saw Durango's picts of the spider bulb. Only 1 question. If you blind the driver behind you and then he rear-ends you is it really safer?
