Now Edward, can you honestly tell everyone that you still have that old 70 out in the garage

Honestly, it is in your garage. You haven't been out there to kick it lately have you? It probably needs some consoling after yesterday.

Thanks guys. I had it out today and enjoyed the crap out of it. Went over with my buddies to a local car gathering and hung out. One of my buddies has a 99 TA and he pulled up beside me and ask if I wanted to go. I told him no. He said Lets at least make it look good. When the light turned green I ran it up to around 4k and shifted through the first two gears. I looked in my mirror and the TA was all over the road spinning the tires. Glad the vette drives a straight line.

Ya couldn't have picked a better color.
Congrats on a great score Eddie...
Just don't **** off the 70 and ignore her. In a jealous rage...she might leave ya stranded.

I hope it does not leave me stranded. It has been for the most part a problem free car since I have had it. I have done most of the major repairs to the car before they turned into problems. I went over and saw my 70 yesterday at my buddies house. It is still covered and setting in his basement, patiently waiting till it can come back to its garage.

I had no idea I was going to get this one. I had been looking at new trucks and came across another Z06 and it got me to thinking. For the same money, I can have a Z06 that has already taken the big hit. Luckily I came across this one which for all intents and purposes is a fairly new car. Maybe we will run into each other before the next St. Judes Bristol Run again.

Congrats on the Z; you're going to love it. After recently getting my wife the C5, I'm really considering getting a Z when my '81 is completed. I think it would make a really nice DD.

Congrats on the C5. You will love it on the long cruises!

I have a bunch of pictures of Evie and I bringing home our first C5. They look a lot like yours. My favorite is the one with her big grin!

Electron blue is my favorite colors on the C5's. Very cool and I'm jealous!

Now that I have had it for a few days and the new has worn off, its still my favorite color on a C5 too. When the sun is out and shining, the EB looks really nice.

Thanks Pat. I have always loved that color on your vette Pat. At one point I had thought about painting my 70 either Grand Sport Blue or Electron Blue.
