Thanks a lot. I researched and tried a few new things with this build. I have never completely built a GM factory roller before. I have worked on Vortec engines in trucks and SUVs, replacing the bottom end on one and a top end on another. Needless to say this project was a LOT more fun and I can't wait to finish building my Vortec-405, formerly known as my LT1-405.
It'll get it's own thread, and guys will surely pop in and mock me and the engine, just like this one.
I agree....time to send the Butt Nutts packing. (Note to Butt Nutts) Be sure to drop on by from time to time, as you have been doing, to tell us how great your new site is.....GP
What is the site the butt nuts visit?? I haven't heard of it?
Did you get much driving in today Curt? The weather here in St. Louis was hot today but luckily no rain.
Yeah, I got a couple hours in yesterday late afternoon. It was a little hot out but dry. I took the wife for her first ride in it and she was impressed as well.
