Just curious - the moulding above the wiper door looks like stainless -my '70 is painted same color of car. Was that an option or just on certain models?
Also - I think something that looks nice - if you don't need the front license plate - pull that center grill out about 4 inches - mean/cool look.
Nice!!!! What makes it interesting to me is that the cars are so similar and yet so different... at the same time.
I always enjoy your pictures.
Regards,
Alan
PS: I love engine compartment pictures. Hint! Hint!

The wiper door trim is painted, just the top lip is unpainted stainless.
Oh, the front license plate only temp, and actually a late C3 font I think. I want to put one of those original USA vanity plates on it, but they are hard to find and expensive! WB

Thanks Alan,
The camera did all the work!
I always enjoy reading your replies, learn something new with each one!
Haven't taken any engine shots lately, soon

Kevin,
I think it's a shame these pictures and the conversation it generates can't be on the Tech Board too. People who are interested in Corvettes want to look at them and talk about them. I was pleasantly surprised to come upon your post and an even wider audience should get to see what your hard work has accomplished.
Regards,
Alan

There has been talk of a General C1, C2 etc. along with for sale and several other sub forums, time will tell. They are all global how much more can you ask? I enjoy learning and seeing all the cars that have made it around the world! Vettes are everywhere!!!
Kevin,
I know what you mean. It's really fun to talk to someone in New Zealand or Australia, who's doing the same thing as we're doing, just on the other side of the road.

K - Lookin Good! Beautiful car buddy! What paint did you finally use?
So this means you'll have 2 entered in the Cavalcade of Corvettes in June?
So, going to any shows inthe near future? I will have my 69 on the road as soon as I get the wiper motor fixed for the inspection. We can have our own little show! HAHAHAHA
Thanks 7T1vette! Funny the car is painted Bryar Blue but really changes in different lighting from dark blue to green/blue. It's an awesome color!

Went with the Sikkens top of line, from your guy! (BCCC)
Inspection, who needs that? You got the wrong tags for the puppy!
Now if I can only figure out how drive them both at the same time?
Happy to bring them both to the Calvacade, count me in.
As far as other shows, two more displays needed for the fifth star on the 71, Pittsburg/June then St. Louis/July. Big gas budget this year!
