Default Carpet

Anyone know if Lowes Homedepot or somewhere sells auto carpet by yard. Found some at Oreillys but it is only 3 feet long and looks cheap. Can't find anywhere that sells by yard without ordering on internet.
Thanks

The only place in a C3 that universal flat roll auto carpet would fit would be the back compartment floor and bulk head. The floor pans have so many contours that anything but molded carpet is not going to look good and the extra money for a molded set is worth it in my mind.

Money is not the issue. My car is far from a stock floor pan. It is all fabricated from firewall back. Narrowed 9in tubbed out. I wish I could use premolded but I can't. Trust me it would save alot of work.

I understand now. Sorry I assumed.

Check audio install shops and body repair shops. Those kinds of places would have access to automotive carpet.

Anyone know anything about Ozite carpet? That is what everyone around here sells. It maybe good but feels kinda cheap to me. Looks like stuff they put on speaker boxes. Maybe it will be ok when I glue it down over my sound deadner. Anyone else used it.

Ozite is indoor/outdoor carpet. If you are looking at that, you apparently don't care about original type carpet. Did you try a carpet/furniture store?

I used to install carpet for my uncle and he carried all types of carpet in his store.

Wholesale fabric warehouses usually carry several colors of auto capeting on rolls. You might also try J.C. Whitney's.

The Ozite I bought was at Oreilly and it said automotive carpet on packaging. I don't really care about original if you saw my car you would understand. I guess I will have to order online just tried to find somewhere I could go look at it and buy.

I will go by local carpet stores and try before I order. I just assumed they would only have home carpet. I will check out.
thanks

Not carpet stores....wholesale fabric stores. Carpet stores will either not have it or will charge you a fortune for it.
