Dude! This thread has been dead for 5 years.
But now that you have resurrected it. I have to through in my 2 cents.
I have a 77 which I plan on cutting the fenders to graft on the ends off an 80-82 so that I can use that bumper. Same with the back, An 80-82 bumper. I will be removing my rear window and replacing with the removable type that the early C-3s had. And a 76 hood because I like the louver on it. And to top it of I am putting stingray emblems on the fenders and 350 badges on the hood.
That is how " I " envision my car and don't really care what it does to the value or the purist who would rather keep original when its not even special or rare like other C-3s. So to the OP who started this 5 years ago. I hope you went ahead and put the emblems on your car.
I will go now and put on my flame retardant suit on.

Default keep it 80

unningMan373;1566749348] Flame suit on

do you see any Stingray badges on an '80?

Front end, Rear end, side vents, Rear window...[/QUOTE]

why do you need the wrong markings on a perfect style corvette? Ihave an 1980 that is a perfect one of kind with 25000 miles all
documented. I would never want it to be anything else. Believe me it will not run any better! Leave it the way it is..

Resurrected after 5 years, then another 7 months. No value here.
