I believe that they are not available as a normal purchased item from any of the regular vendors. I got mine at Carlisle a few years back and spent a lot of time and effort polishing it with a drill and a mushroom buffer, compound (white and browm) amd simichrome polish. Now look almost brand new.
Swap meets, junk yards, and Corvette salvaged parts places are the best candidates for getting what you need. Good luck. [P.S. What's wrong with the one on the car?]
TF,
7T1 is right on. New windshield header trim is not available (there may be one hiding somewhere) but since it's Stainless Steel almost any decent piece, the one you have, or one you find, can be restored by you or by a professional shop.
You'll find that the originals had a coat of flash chrome on them so the tone would match the two cast pieces of chromed pot metal that are on each end of the windshield header.
On Saturday I got a price of $250 to polish AND plate my piece of trim. VERY FEW SHOPS WILL PLATE STAINLESS STEEL.
Regards,
Alan
