i now have a battery kill switch on terminal. so is it neccesary to remove battery for winter storage? the car is in a heated garage. or can i just cut power with switch? thanks, nutsy.
No, you don't have to remove it. If it is going to be extremely cold where you are storing it, you might want to attach a trickle charger to keep it charged and warmed up a bit.
Did you say heated garage ? I leave mine out in the yard in a shed i built just for the car.I just fill it with gas change the 710 and forget about it till spring, my Die Hard Has Started that car for 3 yrs in a row in the spring . Cut the power to the switch if your worried but it should not be a problem.
yah, its heated but not hot. maybe around 50 degrees in winter. i put the kill swich in because i have a draw and never bothered to track it down. kill switch made it not a priority. i also change the 710 although i never saw it worded that way.
