Is there any way to find out the original options on a 71 convertible without the tank sticker? I would just like to know exactly what I have.

If the car was originally shipped for sale in Canada, all the information is available from GM in Oshawa, Ontario...call the with your VIN, you never know.

You know you can tell the original exterior color, and the color of the interior along with was it standard or deluxe from the trim tag.
Also....this a loooong shot... if you take up the carpet and padding and look at the rear bulkhead behind the seats there are often chalk marks indicating A/C, P/S, P/W. On the firewall under the master cylinder there is sometimes a P/B in chalk for a power brake car.
Have you looked for the shipper's copy which was often tucked under the dash behind the radio?
Regards,
Alan

Alan is correct. Also look for chalk writing on the back wall next to the interior light. The other day I removed my firewall shielding from under the car and found the line build number on the passenger side and the letters PB on the driver side.
Other then digging deep and finding the PO and or PO's to help you out and or see if they still have any paperwork it will be hard to tell.
Cant remember when GM stoped putting protecto plates with the cars cause if you still had one you might be able to gain more info from it.
You can get the part numbers from the optioned items and see if the dates coinside with the cars build date. This can get you close but cant confirm 100% original options.
