Still lots to do. I need Sunday and Monday to make the engine compartment complete to accept the new little small block and tranny. Then some odds and ends, go through the underneath and do a double check on all the bolts as i know i left some loose till later. Need to shim the trailing arms, and install all the brake lines and rotors callipers etc. Cant wait to get it on the ground, so i can attack the interior. I ordered a ton of interior components from Wilcox, that should be here next week.
Well your making me jealous, It's looking great. Did you ever follow
through with getting it to the dyno? Your going to make a lot of people
envious of you with a build that nice.
Mr. Grumpy, sure looking good, (uptight, out of sight, & finger licking good. ) I'm sure glad to see some color of under carriage, and engine compartment. LOL I painted the spindle, bright Holly Red on one side. I ran out of black paint, so there are a few more red parts underneath, but they are clean and painted. I sure did discuss the fitting of aftermarket upholstery, I bought for the 80 I rebuilt. Do a lot of fitting, before final hole drilling. Keep up the good work. Have a great one.. Gene
Those dyno numbers aren't to shabby, you basically doubled the
horse power from stock. My car has about the same HP and it
is really fun to drive. Your building a great car.
Yeah i had a 700 hp 468 in my camaro on the street, big compression and solid roller cam. Not too much fun on the street after awhile, and i ended up getting rid of it. The plan was to build a nice driver that would have a bit of get up and go to it so i could enjoy it.

Thank you for the compliments. I found my car for sale in the local paper, but there is a fairly large corvette club here, and i am sure a fellow could network his way around in a local vette club to find a car for sale as well.
Oh My ! Well done !! Keep the pictures coming, its great to see the work that you have put into it. Keeps me positive on my 1970 Buick restoration which is a first for me.
Yes Sir: Again I sure like the color combos, under the car. All I see under mine is mostly black. LOL Looking good guy, I know that you will keep up the good work, Happy New Year. Gene
Well i hit the garage again this week, i was off on holidays. Got all the tranny lines, linkage, dipstick etc done, had to remove tranny mount to install dual exhaust hangers. Working on the trailing arm shims and brakes this weekend. Getting the new calipers painted etc, and the new brake lines installed. Will post some more pictures this weekend.
