I dont live in a very good neighborhood but I keep my cars garaged, all with alarms. I did have one person try to get into my daily driver when I first moved here, but I caught him. Even with my Colt Anaconda .44 mag under my bed I got the guy with a baseball bat. No cops, just a very good beating and smashed his hand pretty good as well. Draged him up the street to the nearest corner and left him there.

Yes they are. Deadly force is justified for possessions as well as life. Castle law: we don't have to retreat; act threatening, especially at night, on someone's property and you may be legally killed. It has happened & the property owners have been either not charged or no billed. You Don't Mess With Texas!
