WOW This forum is a tremendous thing. You Guys / Gals are the best damn bunch of people any where. Corvette owners are a great example of fellow ship.
I thank all for the input , It appears to be narrowed down to a Alarm wire passage.
I guess a future project will be to get the alarm back up and working.

David, I looked at mine also and agree with wills670. The top grommet has two wires, one black and one white for the alarm system as well as the washer hose while the bottom grommet has the hose with the green stripe that comes from the right fender then goes into the interior through the grommet behind the tach cable.

Well the alarm sensor could have bitten me!!!! I never saw it!!!!
I'm sticking with the alarm wiring coming out that hole.
So many parts. So much confusion. So much fun.
