I would call that car many things....but "Bubba" is the furthest thing from my mind. I guess opinions are like a-holes....everyone's got one!

I've been following both this thread and your fiberglass threads and find them full of someone who has talent and skill in fabrication.

To each his own I guess, but I for one am enjoying both threads and wish you the best in completing your vette. You and a few other threads have inspired me to try my own hand at fabricating a custom interior.

I have been following both threads - and am very impressed. Very nice work...

you are obviously too narrow minded to understand the scope of the project. i am just glad i live in a country that lets me do what i want with my own car. i am so glad i am not bound by the opinions of others such as yours. the car has 300,000+ miles on it. i have no regrets and i am enjoying the car and the project. it is about taking something you love and meshing it with a vision and labor to get the desired result. it is a form of functional art. the car does not lack in performance or handling. it is putting out close to 4 times the power than it did when it was stock. it handles close to the level of my z06. there are plenty of stock c-3's out there for us to all enjoy. i just happened to decide not to take it back to stock a second time. i restored it back to stock at 150,000 miles and now i want something that stands out from the crowd that i can enjoy. i am doing just that even though it bothers you. good thing is " i dont care ! " thanks to all the others that have commented and are also enjoying the project with me. i will post up progress on the car as it happens. i am going back to the details of the interior then on to the bodywork. once all that is complete, the paint work will finish off the engine bay. there are a few more details to be finished in there also.

In Idaho, and I'm sure in some other states too, that's illegal and the fuzz will give you a ticket for that. I personally like the looks and function of the wipers...but it's the fugly cowl opening that drives me nuts. It's like GM forgot to finish that area up. I'm "ok" with the aftermarket filler piece, which is admittedly better than nothing...but still not 100% in my mind.

I'll have to give the Rain-X a shot though. I just rarely drive my car in the rain, so.........

Just to be knit picky but why not stay with one style line/fittings? I think all black AN fittings and hoses would have looked best....

when i shaved my marker lights and mirrors, i haven't been pulled over for not having them. i think if the custom is clean, folks don't see the little things that are missing.

Can't think of something nice to say, sit yerself down and shut up....

Would be nice if we all had this level of talent, and could turn out a car that has quality mods...

Ok, so hotrods aren't your thing. To say this is a "bubba" job, just shows how truly ignorant you are.

.....no, that's too nice a word. ....you're an idiot.

knit picky is ok . the main reason is because the nos kit i got came with the blue and red fittings on premade lines. at the time, i was having a hard time finding some of the fittings in black so i just kept the nos fittings in blue to try to keep the color the same through the system. i have a few new fittings on order so there will be a few changes here and there. i did the black hose for fuel line becuase it was in a kit i bought before i decided to go with the nos and since the nos hoses were silver, i just decided to keep all other lines besides fuel silver as well.

I sorta like the different colors, myself. Not only does it bring a little color...but it would seem to make it easier for quick identification. Just me though.

But since my baby never does rain, I covered the holes the wiper arms come through with screen & took care of the fuglyness like this......

GREAT work 2000FRCZ19...... Words like "bubba" & "redneck" have no place on this thread as far as I'm concerned.....

Ok...maybe I DO take back what I said about those covers...'cause that looks sharp. I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Thanks mydejavooo..... I had to unhook the arms from the motor & lay 'em down in the cowl, so I can pop the cover & reconnect the arms if I ever get caught in a cloudburst.......

Excellent sheetmetal work! A true artist. Bring it this weekend to Kissimmee for the NCRS show, give all those tight a$$ people some to talk about. It's all about fun and one man's fun is another man's nightmare.
