I did these C5 seats a few weeks ago. Bought a salvage set for $100. then some new covers and brackets to bolt them direct to the floor with no sliders.
Where I come from a car isn't street legal if the seats aren't adjustable.

Well I can change the angle of the back, so maybe that counts.
Thanks guys for all the complements. I did have a little issue the other night. I had the entire electrical system drop out. The car ran for a few minutes after it did, but then died during rush hour at a very busy corner. I was able to locate the area of the problem, wiggled some wires and it came back to life.
It turns out when I plugged the engine harness into the back of the fuse block, the male spade for the main power line pushed the female part back into the fuse block. So it was touching enough to work for awhile but them it must have vibrated back enough to lose connection. Took awhile to figure out the issue and what a pain getting the fuse block pulled out far enough to work on it with the car assembled! The tab that holds the spade in wasn't doing the job, so bent it to where it should have been and put it back together. So I'm crossing my fingers that it won't happen again.
I don't expect to post much more on this thread as I think I'm done with major projects on the car. I'll have to start a new thread when I figure out what my next project car will be.
Excellent work. The hood is beautiful, along with all your other work!!
How about a good expose on the car, hood up, motor, several angles. Really would like to see some good rear shots that shows the rear and the exhaust and the 275s.
Anymore pics would be greatly enjoyed and will keep the enthusiasm fires burning! Great job!
I found this before picture that was actually sent to me by the guy I bought the car from. I just noticed it had a Leather wrap on the wheel that wasn't there when I picked the car up.
The air fresheners were needed because of the mouse nest under the passenger seat.
I was really disappointed as the Gemini decal was removed from the rear window when I picked up the car!

Wow am I impressed! I've been building hot rods for a lot of years, cursing every rusted nut and bolt along the way. I've never done a frame-off however. Your car is amazing and your hard work really shows.
So I was looking for some pictures in my thread for another member who had some questions, so figured since it is a cold day here in Wisconsin, snow on the ground and generally depressing because summer is so far away, I would post a few picture of the car taken last summer.
