has anyone named there vet? most think of them as a person, it's crazy, if someone messes with it i get mad like if someone just said something about my mother, thinking about naming mine candy or something exotic, it is my true love you know.
The Batrod. That's pronounced "Bat-rod," not "ba-trod." It's even my plate. look at my pics and you'll know why. Actually. its Batrod III, but that's another story.
I haven't named my cars since I was a kid. My cars are "its" and not "hes" or "shes". When I bought my 69 Mustang convertible it belonged to an elderly lady. She handed me the keys in the driveway and said "By the way, her name is Elizabeth". I kept a straight face and solemnly accepted the keys. After I restored "Elizabeth" I sent color pictures to her so she would know that her car had a good home. The car hasn't been called "Elizabeth", "Liz" or "Lizzy" since I bought it. A side story is that I told this story to a friend of mine who also happens to be the webmaster for the Mustang club I belong to. He knows I don't like cars having names, so, every time he places a picture of my car on the club website, he makes sure to identify it as "Elizabeth". I don't think my Vette has ever been named and, as long as it belongs to me, never will be.

We were going to call our baby Mircalla, but had a boy.
So when the 'Vette came along
S.W.M.B.O ("She Who Must Be Obeyed")
named HER.
Named after the Vampire...see the connection? Beautiful,Mysterious,Dangerous & will suck the life
outta you (or your wallet).
Most of the time SHE's "The 'Vette" or "Big RED".

My wife calls my baby the POS. Just because she had to drive it one day and it stalled on her. Some women do not understand the principle of warming up the engine
My wife, who is a really small lady, drove my Vette about two blocks and that was it. It seems the clutch was a little "much" for her left leg. I have to admit that I had a cramp in my left calf for about a week after I bought the Vette.
