Default Engine bay paint...........
hey guys, want to clean and detail my engine bay on my 82. what color black is best for painting the black on the fire wall, fenders etc.

I used Krylon Fusion satin black (#2421). Really like it!

I used the 96 cent flat black from the big box store. layed several coats down and it looks pretty good. Especially for the cost.

Krylon #1613 is a good choice. It's gotten hard to find but some commercial paint suppliers are still carrying it. It's worth looking for.

I used Mar-Hyde Satin Black. It was easy to shoot. No mixing, just straight in and out of the gun.

The hard part was all the sanding.
