hey guys me again is there anything you can do for a rusted vin plate 1/2 inch missing.thank you

Not much other than to try to keep what you have left. You can contact your DMV to determine what it takes to get a replacement tag, but your state-issued replacement will not be anything like the GM original.

I guess what you do depends on where on the tag the 1/2" is missing.... can you read the complete sequence?
