Hey Bats... don't know if they're your style but member 69autoXr has a set of unusual rims listed in the parts for sale section. They're reasonably priced too!
I thought it over well...I want the Ansen Sprint slotted style...I really do not care who made them just so long as they match, need 8" wide up front 10" wide in the rear,

Perhaps something will pop up,
Many thanks!
I suggest you check the American Racing website then....
I stumbled across this thread in a search. I do not know if you are still looking but US Indy Wheels makes a replica of the old school slots in 15x8, 15x9, and 15x10 with GM bolt pattern a few different BS options.

I will be doing 15x10 all around when I get my flares on.
Wow time flies, hopefully we will not get scolded for posting in an old thread since it is after all still ongoing...
I have flipped and flopped on the style wheel I want and if I will have to get all modern and step to 18" just the find wider tires,
For now a buddy has a set of turbines 15x10 15x8 I am gonna run, not my favorites but I like them better than the fake centerlines on the car,
I am very curious you plan to run 10" all round what size tires front and rear?
I have a staggered set available I bought in the 80s with newish BF Goodriches on them. I wont be needing them again. They are American Racing Equipment star pattern. Think they are 245/275s. Will need polished. Direct bolt on perfect fitment as seen in video below.

I think it is still relevant if someone else finds this thread as well.

I plan to run 265/50R15s all around to limit the sidewall buldge. 265mm is about 10.5" so the sidewall will be about flush with the rim lip. People running 295s on 10" wheels must do it for the look because that buldgy sidewall pulls the edges on the tread down and makes the contact patch smaller. A 295 needs at least a 11" wheel. The 265 on a 10" wheel will have the same or better contact patch in the lateral direction.
Back to your question, the wheel will stick out 2.5" more than factory rallies so a 2" flare will cover it nicely. I think I'll need about a 1" spacer in the back to fill the 4" flares until I can get fancy 18" wheels.

295/50r15 are for 10" wheels. The tread width (10.5) is the same as the outside width of 10" wheels. BFG actually uses a 9.5" wheel for its specs.
265/50R15 are no longer in production except a few off brands.

I know they are designed for a 10" wheel, but the contact patch is much better for handling if you stretch it slightly. This also stiffens the sidewall a bit as well. I run 275/35R18 Hoosiers on 10.5" wide wheels on my race car even though they are "designed" for a 9.5" wide rim. I gain about 0.75" of rubber contact that way and it is a very noticeable difference in overall grip and turn-in.
It depends on what you use the car for, but I am going for handling so that is why I picked that combo.
Also, Hankook still makes the 265 in the H101 line.

And will add to that thought from yesterday, with the answer yes, I am still looking I have more than one set of wheels in my "collection" right now and do not mind adding to it as you know from my build my tastes and directions change and in a subject like old school wheels people might see this with a set for sale that were not for sale 5 years ago or even 6 weeks ago, IE Mewn.

I agree but I was trying to be funny saying I hope we do not get scolded for this being an old thread I tried to express that this thread still has bearing but I sadly failed, I do find it better to keep all related information new or old in a single thread rather than all over the place but... back to old school wheel talk...

I have seen threads talk about stretching or mashing tires to fit wheel sizes they are not designed for and people who run them lots of street and or track miles report no issues going against what designers suggest as correct,
for 295 it would appear 9.5 wheel is the one the tire makers want us to run.
I believe it would be okay to go 11" wheel on a 295 smaller than 10" would worry me and the cats who put them on 8" wheels down right scare me,
I would love a tire that was a hair wider than 295 but the same outside diameter as a 295 50 15
