OK lets hear the updates on your winter projects, big or small.....I will start with mine:
New oil pan and gaket, new transmission pan and gasket and filter, New plugs, and wires, new valve covers, removed the rest of the emissions stuff including EGR valve, changed to a chrome water neck, new fuel line to pump, new full length 2.5 inch chambered exhaust. Interior: dyed the black visors cinnabar to match interior, replaced header trim peice and dyed to match, replaced steering wheel back to original type and dyed to cinnabar, touched up all the rest of the interior (looks great) ...still to do: new custom spreader bar, change over to non comp Qjet and Dizzy, add lock up controller, install headers (all of which I already have) Install leather/vinyl cinnabar seat covers(here tomorrow), new t-top weatherstrip (here tomorrow), new floor mats(here today). Going to redye the rear carpet since it is in good shape but color faded, after that, the interior will look new again! I need to do a very few other things like add some caulk by the windshield on one side so it does not rust (no birdcage rust at all now). So lets hear it, and see what everyone has been up to, around here driving weather starts now!!

Repaired the battery and tire jack compartments (fiberglassed and added new battery hold-down brackets), had a four wheel alignment done, had the car buffed and it looks like new, installed new ball joints and tie rod ends, and am waiting on a new HEI distributor. I'm getting ready for the SUMMER!!! First trip is to the Corvette Expo in Sevierville, Tenn in late March, about 200 miles.
On the 72 coupe.....lots of cursing and frustration followed by more beer consumption.
install interior, remove interior, strip and sand body in prep for new paint job, electrical work and repair from bubba's damage.... now reverse lights work and all gauges light up. Still fiddling with the vacuum system but have most of it working. flushed brake system and installed new bleeder screws, new negative battery cable, refurbished A/c controls, restoring the interior to black instead of the saddle that it came with when I bought it, hopefully paint soon enough... oh forgot to mention heater core replacement along with heat/ AC duct seals.... yep such a joy. Maybe some day I can drive this thing!!! At least I have the C5 to drive when it's decent weather out.
Started out replacing the Diff front snubber and that turned into all new u-joints and that turned into new poly bushings for the rear end, still waiting to see what this will turn into. Tim

My focus the past year has been taking weight out of the car. The latest lighter weight item is a cut and rewelded F-car tubular sway bar. It's four pounds lighter than the solid 1 1/8 bar I had been using.
Got some lighter late C3 seats that are going in the '69 as soon as there's a sale on new foam and covering.
My winter plans turned into spring plans.(!#*"! it was COLD!)
After working outside all day through the winter I just want to come home and get warm.(Guess I'm getting old!)
I like the door open when I'm in the garage working but this year I tire of lookin at snow.We are finally in the 40's but the snow is still here and is in no hurry to melt!
So as usual I will be slow out of the gate again this year.

I love love huge car tires on bikes!! Be good Ride Safe! Oh and Congrats to Canda Hockey, that was one heck of a game!!!
Working on an LT1 intake manifold conversion. The manifold is almost done, I will start assembling this weekend
Our first big run of the year is in April, I want to have this done and have the bugs worked out before then
I was fixing our driver vehicles, doing house repairs etc
Just about ready to start on the Vette and do a blitz..redo steering box, change trans tailshaft bushing, swap rear end and maybe throw a set of heads on....Dang need a money tree around here
I can't think of a single winter project that I started or completed. Spent months doing an addition to house and garage so I could hold 6 inside. Just finished the epoxy on the floors a few weeks ago and tomorrow I'll be assembling a couple of lifts that will be arriving at 9am.
