Default chassis swap

im new to the forum and any help would be appreciated.
Im thinking of purchasing a 75 vette for a really good price ($1100.00)
The problem with the car is that the frame is rusted out, it has holes in the frame rails.
my question is, they have a person that has a frame for a 81 vette and i want to know if its the same frame or are there any mods that have to be done to make it work for a 75 vette.
he wants $400.00 for the frame and it looks to be rust free except for surface rust.
Any help would be appreciated

thanks
James

FWIW: swapping frames will be more of a chore than you might think.

Swapping frames on a '75 C3 doesn't make a lot of sense. You pay $1100 for the one with a junk frame, $2000 for a new frame, put in hundreds of hours work to swap it out....then you end up with a '75 C3 worth about $5000-7000. Why not just buy one with a good frame???
