Corvette Rocket Commercial

I suppose this should go on the C6 forum, but has anybody seen the new commercial on TV? Supposedly the first Corvette only commercial from GM in decades. Kinda cool if you ask me, because the C3s were very connected to the space program.

I haven't seen the commercial on TV, but it tends to confirm C6 sales are down and GM is having to resort to spending money on advertizing in order to sell the car. It's been a long time since they've had to do that.

Kinda sad, really.

i found it kinda odd also. never seen a corvette comercial before. well in the 80's you had reaganomics. now we have obamma-omics. i guess this economy is really hitting everyone. including the people who could afford a new corvette. i know i can't.

The economy has little to do with Obama. After all the big corps. (GM was one of the first and one of the worst) all moved their manufacturing out of the U.S....and lost all those U.S. jobs as a result...who did they think was going to be able to buy their cars????
