Mine is a Snap On code scanner. I spent almost a grand for it a bunch of years ago. The military took me to Europe where it wasn't any good then I came back to the states and it's outdated. Now they've moved on and I can't get updates for it.
I don't quite have the tool collection you guys have but i'm getting there.
Just bought a $150 timing light and so far I can only see needing to use it a few more times. Since i'll be keeping the points type distributor for a while i'll be replacing and doing timing every year most likely.
to be honest i don't use my Ingersoll air ratchet much at all. It ame in a set with the impact gun that i live by and if i can't fit the impact i just use a regular ratchet. The air ratchet won't have enough torque to break a bolt loose so what's the point...i'll have to get the ratchet anyway.
My air ratchet functions as a normal retchet until I apply air...
I have a mini (1/4 inch), small, med, and large length ratchet....I dont use them all the time, but they have their place and would hate to be without em.
On your air rachet, have you tried applying full air, then using your arm to break the nut/bolt loose [while air still applied]?
I don't think mine works like that. It doesn't move unless air is applied and when it doesn't have enough torque to get the bolt lose it just stutters. Usually when doing this it'll bang my fingers against something quicker than i can stop it from happening...
You put your ratchet on the tight bolt, give the air ratchet a yank to loosen the bolt, just like you would a regular ratchet, then you pull the trigger and let the air ratcheting spin off the nut/bolt. I've never seen one that didnt allow one to do this.
I don't use mine that much either. Almost never. They DO come in handy when you have a bunch of bolts like on an oil pan or changing tranny fluid.
I have a brand new 5 years ago, lol DC volt wire welder. 12 to 36 volt. Great welds up to 1/2" single pass. I thought I would use it more but have not really found a need for while on the road.

I haven't gotten out on my Harley in awhile because my Corvette is sprawled all over the place atm. I'm counting it as my de-stressing tool.
Other than that my engine hoist and stand are pretty worthless to me. I loan them out here and there and have used the hoist to get some bulky stuff out of the back of my truck but otherwise they rarely see the light of day.
I built a Heathkit dwell/tachometer. Have not used it in over 35 years as I installed a points eliminator kit in the distributor. And now it has a Vertex magneto which has platinum points which last forever.
I have to agree that my Snapon set of crowsfoot wrenches could be advertised as new, never used. I think they were on sale. Impulse buy I guess.
I too have a dwell meter collecting dust that hasn't been used in 35+ years along with a Heathkit timing light. I think I got both as Christmas presents when I was a teenager. I don't use them...but I don't want to get rid of them either....one day I may need them......
i have a 100 gal parts washer that i would really like to use but its buried way in my garage too much s*it not enough room... ever
That's funny. Mine is sitting upside down in the weeds behind my storage shed! Don't use it enought to justify the space in my garage. I got it from a guy that got tired of walking around it in his garage.
