Default Bracket

Does an one know where I can find this bracket (#1) in the diagram? The one on my car is there but it is really rusty and thin.

Thanks,

EJ

I doubt that any aftermarket supplier can provide you with a new one. You may have to get a used one from a 'salvage' parts supplier and clean it up a bit. Or, if you are handy with tools, get some sheet steel (same thickness as part) and make one yourself. It just needs to have the same shape as the one you have.

Try Paragon and ask for the Vintage Dept. They have alot of parts cars and old parts, they just might have one, good luck.

Your bracket might be fine and only need to be cleaned up.

Do you mean this one?

Corvette Central has them.

I did a search on that part number and came up with some hits...

Yeah, thats it assembled with the door. I thought it would be a seperate piece. Go figure. Thanks BBcorv70! I'll call them now.

I guess I should have googled the #.
