Well, i hit an unexpected problem while replacing my carpet. One of the screws for the footman loop has no head and is stuck. I've tried needlenose pliers and can't get it out. Any suggestions?
Hi pws,
I think I'd soak it with rust buster of some kind overnight, and then grab it with vise-grips. I don't think you can get a tight enough clamp with regular pliers.
Soak it well before you try so you don't break it off right at the fiberglass under body.
I might also try tightening a bit before loosening it.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
