WOW! I can insure new 2011 Corvettes under a Collector Insurance program. I would love to quote you on both cars.....You will only pay liability on 1 car instead of both like you currently do...This will save you $$$!
It's so funny how things change here. A few years ago I asked about the best classic insurance and the overwhelming response was go with Hagerty or get snowed.
They got involved with Barrett Jackson
I have american modern and it went down 30 bucks this year.
$400? WOW.... I have Hagerty $25k value and I believe was $220 or something like that here in Philadelphia. Hagerty is available through your Allstate Agent too.
I went from Hagerty at 3k a year to Adam at 1750.00. Also Adam had me go with no deduct on windshield. (included in the 1750) The important part is that I got a rock chip on my windshield. I called & the guy said someone would contact me in the next 48 hours to set up the repair. He should have said 48 minutes as it was only 20 minutes. Repair was done & two days later I received a call from them to be sure I was completely satisfied with the replacement.
By the way thanks Adam for talking me into the no deductible, the windshield was 1250.00. I am a happy customer.

Read your policy closer. I bet your agent said it was. But does the contract say it is?
I have an agreed value policy with Hagerty. Around $500 for $65K coverage.
Yeah, I know what you mean 'bout the Insurance Game. I'm an Contractor Estimator & Believe me, Insurance is one Business that Will Never Lose money ...... Ever ! It's Enough to Drive a Person 'Nuts' !
"Everything Keeps Going Up ...... Except for My Pay !"
Man thats no kidding! But I won't go without insurance where it counts.
I have "American Collectors Insurance" on my 1971.Agreed value of $20000/-0- deduct on comp & collision,300M on bodily injury and property damage,unisured/underinsured,towing,spare parts coverage, medical payments. Premium $159.00 per year.
Also used them for my 68 Camaro, had a claim for small paint damage of $685.00,they paid no questions asked other then to send copy of estimate. No premium increase after claim paid.Very pleased with them.
They have a great Web page geared towards customers and our car passions. JMS71VETTE

Yeah, Much as I hate to admit it ..... Insurance is one of those 'Necessary Evils' Where I Live, 'Ya gotta have Insurance to put the 'Ride' on the Road !
Right Now, since I'm in the building Stages with my '72, I've got mine Insured for just "Fire & Theft". Everybody I know has gone to 'Grundy' to get their Classics Insured. But, since reading the posts here, I'm gonna look at everything B-4 I decide on a Policy !
Plus Adam has been on the forum here since practically day 1, so if you have the slightest problem with your insurance coverage or billing you can jump online and slam him like all the other vendors! I insure my house and drivers with State Farm, but I would never use them for a collector vehicle. At the moment I am happy with Hagerty - have been with them for a while and don't like to switch for no reason but I would (or will) definitely go with NCM if I were to switch. And as a fringe benefit when you visit the NCM you can stop and say "hi" to Adam.

of course premiums vary location to geographic location, but i have a hagarty policy for 250/500 BI and 100 liability plus all the other things common to similar policies (no deduct comp and collision) plus i pay for their upgraded towing that covers all the cars in my household, not just the collector car with pretty much the same valuation (15,000) and my premium is a bit over 200/year.

I'm a State Farm agent (actually not far from you in Bloomingdale)...anyway, do you have car insured as an antique/classic? Just insured my '75 at $15K value and its about $75/year. We still allow several thousand miles a year, and regular license plates. Take a look into that with your SF agent.
