Default Hagerty 10+% increase

Just got my renewal notice there is a 12.5% increase over last years premium.. no claims, no nothing . The car actually rolled 35 miles in the past year....to one (1) car show .....
anyone else see this increase from Hagerty?
Are there ANY OTHER collector car insurance companies out there that are competitive with Hagerty?
1980 model, 32,*** miles bone stock car..

Have you checked with the corvette museum insurance? I'm currently checking out a policy with them (Adam Boca) and they seem pretty good.

I use Grundy ( www.grundy.com )

This is my first year with them. I paid $192.50/year. $100,000 liability/person and $25,000 coverage for the car. There's also no mileage limit. I have a 69 with 41,000 miles.

I'm also with Grundy and I think my premium has gone up about $40.00 over the last 10 years and that includes increasing my stated value by nearly $5,000.

Default Grundy for me

Grundy for me, no mileage limit per year, no daily driver operation either though.

Been happy with Grundy. We will see what my rate is this April.

I would get a quote from all 3, Haggerty, Grundy and a third one? Leeland West maybe? Good to know about the museum insurance too.

It's so funny how things change here. A few years ago I asked about the best classic insurance and the overwhelming response was go with Hagerty or get snowed.

Just did an estimate on the NCM website, it is 20% less than what I pay now, before the 12 % increase for next year. Guess where I'm gonna buy it .....

Be sure to talk to Adam (NCM Ins guy). After talking with him we were able to lower the rate further. They also have an optional "9-5" endorsement that allows you to drive to work up to 2 times/week.

Adam was very helpful getting me set up. I not only wanted collector car coverage, but a rider for my 20 year old as an occasional driver. This he was able to do very reasonably.

Old School State Farm, no increase in the last 10 years - Really, I have agreed value ($15,000) and all the rest of what you need, it's about $400 a year, no muss - no fuss.
