Eh cant argue there. Seems like blasphemy to me, but in the long run it would only make my car more valuable.

Thanks for the replys.
I'm a good mechanic. I can do about anything to a car.

I was just curious what components tear up continually, even after being replaced.

I had a 300hp 350 CJ-7, I never was stranded, but was continually fixing something. And the new A/C was lacking.

My main concern is to have it road worthy. I can fix what comes along with time.

The A/C will be ran with one large compressor like a suburban with rear air.

I need to replace a leaking caliper. I may just replace all four and the soft lines.
I'm rebuilding the Q-jet tomorrow. I'm going to play with it stock for a week or two. And decide from there.
