The black paint and wheels give it a vintage sinister look. Congrats on your new Vette and welcome to the club!

Looks pretty darned good from the photo. If the engine and tranny are in the same shape it will be terrific. Enjoy it. Your family will now officially certify you as nuts, of course, and your wife will feel threatened by your lack of focus on her but then, she knew that when she started hanging with you!

You'll have fun and welcome to what has afflicted the rest of us.

Thanks for all the 'welcomes'!

My wife thinks I'm crazy already....she can tell I'm very excited!

As far as I can tell, it is in good mechanical shape but I'll give a good going over once I get it home.

The interior needs some love. I'll start with that...... my checkbooks is getting scared already!!!!

Welcome! You won't meet a nicer bunch of folks then the one's on here! They are VERY HELPFULL, and never put ya down for any questions asked. Looks like a 75. Nice ride. Now get a BIG JAR and put it in the garage. Everytime you go by, drop your change in it. You'll need it! For some reason, these beasts have a mind controling technique that makes you spend every waking hour dreaming of what next to do. Even if it looks finished, they never are.LOL.

by the way, the wheels on your car appear to be very unique to me. I haven't seen 'em all but yours are quite distinctive and go with the black exterior. They'd look better with my rwl BFG 255's instead of those soon to be vanished Goodyears though! Just kidding...it looks terrific.

Funny you should mention the wheels/tires! At first I didn't like the wheels but they are growing on me. Maybe a freshing with some new center caps will in the works.
As for the tires... they look almost brand new but I believe they are about 10-11 years old. Figure I should probably replace them due to age.
