Before & after progress pics.
A couple of progress pics. Still need to tidy a few things up, and put some stuff back together, but it's gettin' there. Just thought I'd share a few pics.

Thanks fellas! I'm waiting for my 66 Impala to come back from the body shop so I figured why not kill some time and clean the Vette up!? I'm lookin' forward to buttoning it up and start drivin' it!
I put some closed chamber 58cc heads on it, a factory replacement 327 350 H.P. cam in it, an Edelbrock performer intake and an 1800 stall converter. Just sometin' to give it a little extra umph without gettin' carried away.
Next winters project will be to redo the back half of the car, and put the AC back on.

Very nice work. Now, if you want to do the "full Monty" on the engine compartment, Use a rag and lacquer thinner to wipe off all the wiring and hoses. Then use a cloth with some Nu-Vinyl (or other polymer protectant) to put a coating or two on all the wiring insulation and hoses. WOW! Better than new....

That looks good. I like seeing peoples before and after shots. It gives me inspiration to keep going on my cars to get them looking like this.
