Default windshiel scratch

Just finished with the Eastwood kit and completely sanded and polished out a large deep scratch in my windshield. It took some time but it worked great.

Sorry, no pics. It took about 5 hours including prep time of masking and carefully covering the whole car. It's a messy job.
The scratch was deep and wide. It turned out great, I was really surprised how well it worked.

I had scratches in my windshield that looked as if a PO had ran the wipers for years with nothing but the wiper arm. I looked for a windshield buffing kit for months but couldn't find anything. I ended up just replacing my windshield about 2 weeks ago. Just my luck

Mine were like that but not near as long. And yes they should come out. As long as yours are, I would suggest that if you use the Eastwood kit that you order extra sanding discs. The fine and med. discs wore out .
