I just finished fixing alot of electrical issue's I had like
Wipers not working - They do now
Tail lights not working - They do now , thanks to Roger
Indicators not working - They do now
Rear seal leak - Not any more
Oil Pan leak - Not any more
Fiber optics not working thanks to Bubba - they all work now
Old torn Soft Top - Nice new one now
Scratch/ Chipped Drivers&Pass Windows - Replaced both
Headlights not working - both pop up and light up
Fuel gage pegged - Not any more

Wow , Everything on my 68 is working , I cant believe it !

I am scared to drive it ... just incase something happens...

Thanks to the forum, cause with my limited knowledge I couldnt have even attempted fixing 1/2 of what I did.... the " search " key is really my best friend.

Happy Driving

"Knowledge is 'power'..." And, there is a lot of 'knowledge' here. Enjoy the car, now that it's working properly.

P.S. Can you imagine how much you would have paid someone to fix all that 'stuff'? I couldn't afford to operate a C3 if I couldn't DIM (do-it-myself).

Ah heck, just drive it. When it breaks, fix it again. Enjoy.

Hi d68,
With an old car, when there's nothing on the 'needs fixing list', it's only because something bad has happened.... but you don't realize it yet!
Regards,
Alan

Boy...I hope you didn't jinx it by saying that.

Kind of like working in the Emergency Room and commenting on the quiet night.
