Now that's dramatic! Glad to see those yellow wires go. What did you do to restore the gold dichromatic finishes on the booster and the windshield wiper relay?
It is dramatic, as it was almost a year after the minor restoration. In the picture the cannister was still with the original factory paint, I did restored it using the Eastwood golden cad kit (item #10331Z), its a really fine product.
But I'm kind of curious why you went through the effort to go back to the stock look and then put a flexible radiator hose on it? That's the only item that looks out of place to me.
Don't get me wrong, you did a great job.
But you should definitely put an O.E. style hose on there.
You guys did a great job, those engine compartment all look great. I would rather have Air Condition any day than those smog pumps. I think I now have all the correct parts to install the smog pump system, so if I ever move to Texas, I can reinstall it. Most states are letting cars this old get by without that outdated equipment. A lawn mower puts out more pollution in an hour, that these cars, if properly tuned, put out all day. Have a great day. Gene

.. The last time I took my car to the DMV inspection, the technician was amazed about how clean the exhaust was, I think it was something like 120 PPM of HC where the limit was 2500 PPM.
