Default 63 split window

I have a 63 number matching numbers, factory air, 340 hp motor. I thought ac came on the 300 hp.

Well, that's interesting, but you might have better luck getting some info by posting on the C1/C2 forum.

I think you could order A/C with any engine that did not have solid lifters. (the problem was that the drive belt would fly off or snap at solid lifter red-line speeds)

a quick look at a corvette black book would also give you the info you seek. unfortunately, mine isn't with me in the office at the moment, sorry. i had a 63 way back then, but honestly don't remember to answer your question off the top of my head.

Actually, it doesn't. I looked.


Black Book does not qualify C60 availability on the 63s, but does confirm only 278 factory air cars were produced.

Noland's book says C60 was not available on the L-76 and L-84.
