Thanks
they had the outside covered with a couple layers of cardboard, and a S!@# load of shrink wrap. Needless to say it took me 30 min to get all of the wheels unwrapped lol

[QUOTE=stingrays_r_us;1584956104]here ya go buddy.

Thanks for the great pictures. They don't stick out any further than the 255/60/15 that were an option for my Vette.

also guys, they still sell boss 388s on ebay for around 670.00 ,so dont over pay for them.I thought about the nittos tires but they were too soft a tread, they would wear out too fast for me.the falkens were a harder tread or rubber.13611 ,who makes your wheels? They look almost just like the boss 388.your car is going to be nice when its done.

Thanks, I will compare prices before I pull the trigger.
I got another couple of questions. Are you running 18x8 all around
and are you using wheel spacers?

Vetteman1981---Stingrays_r_us called it dead on. They are Ridler 695's. I've always loved the Torque Thrust look and I liked these because they have that look with a modern flare. I'm playing with spacers right now. I'm having trouble with the end of the spring touching the rim. I have 8" bolts in the rear right now. So I don't have the solution yet because without the weight of the body on it I don't want to try and dial it in too much and have it change later.

is it 5" BS? mine hit the rim too until I put the weight on the ground now it clears about 1/2". If not you probably going to have to get the shortened VBP spring.

What size spacers and did you need to replace the studs to get the lug nuts to torque correctly?

i used a 3/8 spacer and i could have used my old studs but i figured if i was bringing it out 3/8 i might as well get studs too,i bought them from summit racing ,spacers and studs, didnt cost much.glad you asked about studs,i kinda forgot about it.

I'm looking at American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels. I've identified

ARE-C405886140 for the front wheels: 18" X 8"; 4" backspace, -12 mm offset.

ARE-C4058956150 for the rear wheels: 18" X 9.5", 5" backspace, ?? mm offset

These are 5 X 4.74 inch bolt circles. The letter C in the part number means it's a chrome plated wheel. Without the C, the wheel is made as a polished aluminum wheel.

Concern: The rear wheel dimensions look like a very close fit. I have Percy tire fit tool (Eastman, ~$80). The fit problem looks like the tires will rub the frame if the offset dimension is 0 mm. (I have offset trailing arms.) When the fit is getting close, the offset dimension becomes important. Notice the front tires...they are -12 mm. This is just about 1/2 inch. If the rear wheels had -12 mm offset, that'd give me another 1/2 inch clearance from the frame which would be excellent.

Question: (1) anyone know the offset of these rear wheels?..or (2) if you've bought American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels 18X9.5, 5" bs...do they fit? About how much frame clearance? Thanks very much.

Essentially offset and backspace are measuring the same dimension, but from different points...in other words, once you have the backspace offset is mute as its basically the same (for example the 18 x 8 wheel you list has 4" backspace, which equates to -12mm offset, it cant be anything but -12mm) So a 9.5" wide wheel with 5" backspace is essentially -8mm offset. a 9.5" with 12mm offset is 4.75" backspace.

A 9.5 with 5" backspace and a 285 trie will fit fine (I and a number of other members have run 18x10 with 5.5" backspace and had no issues)
