Plan is pro-touring/autocross the car, I am going to start taking it
apart to see if its a worthy project or a parts car.

Slowly disassembling the car to see how bad the rust is, I am worried the frame around the windshield is pretty bad.

So far i found this little guy

he was alone I think and he wasn't lacking a food source so I also needed this

Debating where to go with this at the moment, been reading about removing body from frame I guess thats what I was planning on doing anyway so might as well dive in?

Man, thats Lot of rust on the #2 mounts. The mount pocket is gone, most likely the rocker channel is gone. Probably pretty bad in the windshield frame also. Might as well pull it if your going to fix it thats about the only way. Front clip needs to come off.
Have you looked at the #3 mounts yet?

Hey thanks for the comments, I have not checked the other mounts yet, but I think those are the worst places, the rest of the car seems solid, i think the car set nose down (flat tires) for a long time and all the water ran to front of car. Passenger side floor board is not rusted like the drivers side is. The hinges and rockers seems solid so I am thinking its
going to be the birdcage mostly as the problem, the one part I was hoping was ok!

Taking it apart slowly, mostly due to cutting more bolts than unscrewing

May try to get the body off this weekend if I can get a dolly built,

anyone near Atlanta have one stuffed away they are not using?
