I, like everyone else cannot wait to see the finished product. The OP will probably get very little driving time because of everyone gathered around the car looking and asking questions.

no problemo... hope to soon post some of the building photos... Heartland started this week on it..

How to post pics.
Go to photobucket.com and open a free account.
After your done, browse for the pics on your PC, pick & download the files. Once downloaded click on and copy the IMG code, mine does this automatically when I move the cursor over the code list below each image, and paste the code in your thread or post. You’re done.

Default tail lights...

currently im investigating the looks of integrating Lotus elise tail lights into the C3... The LED versions of original are an option still.. but i think they are not in line with the (orginal orrientated) updated look of the car...

I have some drawings made to see how what i have in mind look...

Let me know youre opinions.... (be nice to me...)))

Hi d,
What's cool about the Lotus lights is that one is all red, and one has the back-up light in it's center... just like the original!
So even the "stock guy" can vote ... yes!
Regards,
Alan

I prefer the originals over any of the led's that I've seen so far but 2nd choice would be those Lotus ones as they just work with your headlight led design.

I really like the new look of the Lotus led's with the modified rear end! They add an elegant modern touch to vette. What is the difference in size btn the OEM and Lotus lights?

What ive hearded from Jeff from Heartland Customs Lotus are 4 3/4"and the origanls about 5"... so it shouldnt be to big of a problem..

In the drawing the lights look a bid fozzy/dark but in real they will be bright and sparkling like on the Elise photos.. so i think in real it even looks better..

Love the whole thing. I am sure you are all over the I pad. Have you looked at mp3Car.com? Look for mimic. It takes you smart phone and blows it up on a touch screen in your dash. It even can connect to you ECM and give you interesting gage options as well as blue tooth.
Love
the splitter
Lotus lights
Exhaust and rear diffuser
Wheels
Colors
Have you considered a modern vette windshield frame? The wind is almost gone at speed, much nicer aero package.
Fantastic build
Thanks for sharing

What I mean is last summer I rode in C5 Vert at over 100 mph at Road America with the top down and very little wind. Modern Verts have larger windshields that make them more comfortable I wouldn't want to see the lines change. But if an aerodynamic way to do with the C3 what GM did with C5+ I would like to see it.
Since your pushing the boundaries in interesting ways I thought I would bring it up.
Love the progress.
Your in good hands with Jay Harris and ISIS I will be using their systems too. He is full of great ideas.

we really take that MIMIC into considertation... whole setup stays the same but the advantage of this is that i only use 1 source, my iphone.. than its all in 1, but with a large touchscreen like the iPad.. Checking some details but i think this will be something.. so thank you very much for this input!!!
