Default 68 original wiper blade and inserts?

I think both by wiper blades and even the rubber inserts are original. How can you tell for sure? All I can see is that the blade says Trico made in USA on both ends.

Good question, AWilson. I would also like to know about the wiper arms. Are they another '68 one year only part??? What are the differences to look for??? BK3

Hi,
In 71 the holders had TRICO stamped in them, ( but my originals don't), and the blades are ribbed and have tiny patent information on them.
Might this apply to 68s too?
I have pictures of 71 arms, but don't know if they apply to 68 arms.
Regards,
Alan

68 Arms are different, I think, only by not having the washer squirter tubes on them. There may be other differences that I do not know. Mine have never been off the car.

Put some water on the windshield; turn on the wipers. If there is essentially NO removal of water...just spreads it around and squeeks..., you MAY have original wiper blade inserts.
