As stated before - CRAP is CRAP no matter how many nice things you say about it.

Wonder where that engine is? under the dash - or sitting on a log somewhere.

Run, Run as fast as you can.....

Hi,
Just what would the reason be that anyone would try to make a car out of those parts?
Regards,
Alan

Even as a parts car, the parts are rough.

the frame looks solid in the pic if he will take 500 for the lot..... take it clean up the wheels and the frame, windows, doors, anything else that is worth cleaning up then sell it all for a buck or two the frame would bring $500 back if it is clean as it looks, windows $50, doors $50and if anything else is worth cleaning up go from there i myself am not about to do it but if you have the space than it could be worth possibly

If that were near me I'd go try and buy it all for $800 or so. The wheels are worth $250 to $350, the frame is a 3-500 dollar part, the spare tub brings 100 and anything else you sell is profit. You are all a bit short sighted when it comes to money makers like this. Yes, I could not retire on the proceeds from this one deal, but I could certainly make a few hundred moving the bits... and that's how projects get financed in my world.

WHY would anyone buy that '75 "project(?)" for $1200 when they could buy this running '79 for $1000?

http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/ctd/3214192585.html

To actually put that '75 back to running condition, I can't imagine the price. $5000 in parts and stuff to make it whole and running? And that wouldn't anything more than one of those $500 paint specials from someplace like Maaco, Econo, or others. So the $6500 invested easily to make it running could buy a bunch of running decent cars.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/search...00&maxAsk=5000

with Markids77,

This is just a good chance to buy a lot of parts to resell.

and those parts, you best move fast, I think someone is already on their way to buy it (for parts, not rebuild).

Darn, didn't read the fine print.

Well, I flagged him. Serves him right for being misleading in the title. I hate those guys who put the down payment as the price in the title or put in $1 or $35 or something. You KNOW they won't sell for $1 or $35.
