I purchased a set of outer door seals for my 1970 coupe (The best available).
"No imitations here! Tired of parts that are kind of close and kind of work?
Then be assured that these outer window seals from ?? ?? are
correct. ?? ?? has built the tooling to produce outer window seals
that are correct in every detail - correct material, correct beading , and correct
bends. Don't accept imitations . . . use ?? ??l seals that look right
and perform as they should."
Has anyone had the problem of the seals being too long and the pins not aligning? It is too long where the door closes.
Thanks,
CK

I did order and receive the correct part for a coupe. Is that a replacement door seal or original on your car. If it is a replacement, how along did you order it and from which vendor?
The "wrong" seal could have been packaged in the "right" bag. You should call the vendor and ask them to measure the total length of the coupe seal for you to compare with yours.
Hi ck,
The picture is of the original seal.
I haven't heard of there being a length problem with the seals you bought from CC.
The thing is, if you have a coupe you should have the longer seals because the convertible seals are shorter. So I'd think if you had the wrong seals they'd be short not long.
Any chance there are convertible doors on your car (it doesn't look like it in your picture)?
Regards,
Alan
Hi 7t1vette - I had vendor check, replacement seals are to their specs. Thanks. CK
Hi Alan,
My original fits exactly like yours in photo. Also your correct, I do not have convertible doors and if anything incorrect seal would be about 1 inch too short.
