Default ? Headers with Borgeson box

I went through as many threads as I could already and I could not find and specific header that will fit with the Borgeson box. Can someone that has installed this combo in their cars point me in the right direction? I have the box and I am in the process of getting the headers. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

I'll let you know in a few weeks if the Summit brand headers work with it,

I can certainly wait a couple of weeks and see the result of your install. Ordering parts at this point and I have plenty prep work to do before I am ready for them. Please let me know how it goes for You and a part # would be nice If they fit OK. Thanks

If you're running a small block, the Hooker Comps fit just fine

Big block is an issue. I have a 69 L46 and I put shorty ram horn and had no clearance issue at all.

Ouch. A little pricey. Maybe I can go for the non painted ones. Thanks for the reply.

Running SBC. I had a chance to get a pair of Hedman 68300 but I was not sure about fit.

If the Hooker comps fit, the Summit headers should fit since they are a copy of the Hookers.

I am using Hooker side exhaust. The box slightly touches but that isn't an issue.

I read somewhere that this close could transfer extra heat to the box.

I am using Patriot Tight Tuck headers with my Borgeson. It took 3 tries before I found them. One source is Jeg PN 737-H8027-1 Coated $273.99. I got mine from J&D Corvettes. There is plenty of clearence between the headers and the steering box.

I fitted Sanderson block huggers to my '74 350, no problems at all. It has a Borgeson box and Hydroboost. However, I had to remove the factory spark plug shielding on both sides, as the headers really "hug the block." If you can find a header that has the #3 pipe taking a tighter downward turn than the #5 pipe, you should be OK.

A generic SBC header ( not designed for Corvettes ) with equally curved #3 and #5 pipes will usually hit the steering box with the #3 pipe, so you want to avoid those. The other thing you could do is measure the distance between the exhaust flange of the head and the steering box and buy a header that sticks out less than this amount.

Regards from Down Under.

I have the "Headman Hedders" on my '70 L46 and they fit without issues. There's plenty of room as the below pictures show.

Is that a Borgeson streering box? If not the Borgeson box is larger.

Yes, it's a borgeson box. I fixed the link on my first picture so you can see the whole box.

I did not see the power streering hoses and now realize that the red ring is the fitting plug. Sorry about that.
