(Holden Special Vehicle) that we Call an R8.
Here's mine which was well before your model, 2001 R8 owned since new.
priya I absolutely love that sx4 eagle my dad had a collection of them and nothing I mean NOTHING out performed an AMC eagle in the snow. So long as you keep your vacuum hoses to the transfer case from popping off they are insanely reliable 4x4. Put a 4 inch lift on in the winter remove it by spring an a great year round car. Every year it was a bout a 5 hour swap for in an out with the lift kit springs larger tires ect but just amazing get around jeep alternative
Mine's full time 4 wheel drive so there are no vacuum hoses to the transfer case. I used to commute 100 miles a day with 20 of that on a gravel road so after five years of this I bought my first 4 wheel drive car, an 81 Eagle wagon. I was really impressed with its abilities in deep snow so when I saw the SX/4 for sale I figured I had to have it, lighter, faster, and better gas mileage than the wagon which I was already greatly impressed with. I must have been impressed with it as I estimate between my husband and me we put 2000 hours of labour into its restoration.
Yeah almost 100% of them were full time 4x4. Some were 4x4 optional and some were 4hi-4lo with a vacuum switch. If the hoses fell off the switch on ours it would kick into nuetral. They are amazing cars huge full steel frame beasts! The design was so bullet proof when amc went under Jeep kept it as their engine an trans set up for many more years. Is yours a straight six or the 304 v8? We only ever ha one v8 it used more fuel than the six an had less torque.

Its the straight six but it has a header, a 390 cfm holley 4 barrel and a slightly hotter than stock Comp Cams cam. All Eagles were 4 wheel drive with either a 4 or 6 cylinder engine although from time to time people do modify them to put V8s in them. The similar looking Spirits and Concords which the Eagle is based off of were all two wheel drive and available with the 304 V8.
Ok, probably going to get flamed for this but here goes!

And of course the 77 Blue vette - My summer cruising, horsepower fulfilling, and NEED FOR SPEED vehicle!
