Another vehicle is a '85 S-10 Blazer with 90K original miles. I painted it 2 years ago LeMans Blue that will match my '69 when I paint that in a month or 2.
Wow, Skip I was surprised by your PM. I've never heard of a Marquardt! Skybolt? Yeah. Pitts? Of course. Jungmann? Sure. Starduster? Absolutely! But a Marquardt? That's a new one on me!
Beautiful Ercoupe as well. I thought I was lucky yo have a wife that tolerates my flying and likes to go out for the $100 cheeseburger, but you've got a pilot wife! Cool!
I've got about 20 hours in Pitts, but have not flown one in 15 years. I love that little hot rod just as much as Corvettes!
I have 3 cars in my driveway a 2008 Mazda 3 hatchback, a 1992 Mazda Miata and the 1977 Corvette. It is hard to drive 3 cars all the time so I use the Mazda 3 as my bad weather car and the other 2 as Fun in the Sun Cars.
My DD is a 2006 Saab 9-3. The other toy is a 68 390 GT Mustang fastback
Jim
My other vehicle is a 1995 Nissan "Hardbody" pick-up. I love the fuel mileage.
BTW: Back in school, the '68 and '69 Mustang GT w/ the 390 was one of my favorites. Mario, a nephew to the owner of the Half Moon Restaurant back home in New York, came from Italy and bought a brand new '68 when I worked doing dishes after school there in the Restaurant. Mario wrecked it twice in the first 6 months he had it, driving like a nut, like they did in Italy, but now in the City. LOL! What a car, and I wasn't even a Ford Man.
Built and drag raced a '73 500 Triple which had Bill Wergis crank and rods(those rods are pressed on), Wiseco Pistons, Wergis Expansion Chambers w/ stingers, ported, carbs, and a bunch of other mods. A really fun bike. My brother had a new '73 500 and before that a blue(I think the blue was a '72) 750. They were so quick and fast in a straight line. Love the sound of the three cylinders w/ the stingers. Great bike you have.
