I've had a lot of other cars, usually a couple daily drivers at the same time. the longest vehicle I've ever own was my '99 Silverado, and I wish I still had it. Unfortunately, the winter rust got the best of it and the frame was starting to look scary.
82 trailer queen
02 coupe 420 rwhp
99 accord 269k
AND, a 99 chevy dually that has scary rust as well. for example 1 ft rotor split in half.
Sits outside every day next to the accord and the difference is sickening. GM, What Are U Doin???????

I regret not getting the GXP but I am very happy with my 2009 G8 GT. It is such a great looking ride and goes like hell.
Wow, Skip I was surprised by your PM. I've never heard of a Marquardt! Skybolt? Yeah. Pitts? Of course. Jungmann? Sure. Starduster? Absolutely! But a Marquardt? That's a new one on me!
Beautiful Ercoupe as well. I thought I was lucky yo have a wife that tolerates my flying and likes to go out for the $100 cheeseburger, but you've got a pilot wife! Cool!
I've got about 20 hours in Pitts, but have not flown one in 15 years. I love that little hot rod just as much as Corvettes!
Chappie
Chappie; I have been really lucky I met my wife in the 8th grade and she loves cars and airplanes as much as I do. She has been involved in 8 antique aircraft restorations we have done and she can do some awesome fabric work. We have been married for 41 years this weekend. Her Ercoupe has a 100 hp Continental and it gets along pretty good. As far as my Marquardt it is about as close to a Buecker as far as size and performance as I could find and it is a delight to fly. Everything is pushrods except for the rudder cables so it is really responsive. We are working on a Piper PA-12 right now and a 66 El Camino
2004 Avalanche Z66. Really cool to see how many other guys are driving an Avalanche. It's a good tow vehicle for taking the Vette to long distance car shows too.
