Hey DG, don't let that frog give you any advice on installing your tail section. Bonding strips is the way to go, but all the damn frog is gonna tell you is "rivet rivet rivet"...

Very funny..
DG, Have you given yourself a finish date, when you hope to have it 'finished?'
No work on Vette, but the Mississippi River is working on the levees.......the top pic shows lights in the distance which are about 8 feet above the water-line (taken from the restaurant walkway/patio area tonight)..........the floodgates north of New Orleans have been opened to "keep New Orleans afloat",.................
This pic was taken during the summer looking up-river, when the water wasn't as high-----normally, you would be seeing about 150 feet of sandy riverbank about 15-20 feet below this water.........

To fill the void of your absence. Heres a pick of my progress replacing my wiper switch.
Who knew the wiper switch was so hard to get to
Haha

Nope.......my home is located on high ground that is two feet higher than the top of the levee......and I live about 8 miles from the river.

That's EXACTLY the same thing I had to do to replace my radiator!

You have to take the seats out to get to the wiper switch???!!!! WOW! I knew working on Vettes was challenging but that takes the cake!!
And Dad said if there was an easy way and a hard way to do the same thing I would pick the hard way every time! Put I would never remove the seats to change the oil!
