Thanks.....we spent the latter part of the afternoon before sunset releasing helium balloons at the grave-site with our two daughters, grandkids and friends in honor of my Son's birthday. It takes a week or so for us to emotionally recover each year, but it's something we need to do every year.

DG sounds like you have a very touching memorial for you Son. It also sounds like God has blessed you with a great family, hold onto that and may God continue to bless you and your family, it's sometimes the little things we need to look for...

You are a brave individual for reading it......LOL!
I saw you posted a reply to a post on a thread i started about my birdcage issues so i looked up your project and spent the last 2 hours reading your progress .
All i can say is what an awesome job you have done , given all your circumstances i cant believe what an incredible sense of humor you have , it shows in your replies . Your vette will soon be sorted and will be the best therapy in the world !!
Keep plugging away at it , i took 4 years to put my 80 back together without having the trauma's you have gone through , your an amazing person with great humility and strength thats for sure .
When i want to throw spanners in future when things are going against me i sure will count my blessings.
If you ever need a break in South Africa you would be more than welcome to stay with myself and my wife , you wouldnt even have to bring spanners , have plenty spare
Keep up the progress and thanks for all the pictures and a great thread, awesome job mate
(don't tell my wife that I used the kitchen island for the photo-shoot!)
I now have both daily-driver seat belts in my possession.
Boston Camaro did a great job of double wrapping/boxing-up the nice/shiny 1969 seat belt guides that are laying next to the shoulder belts at the top-middle of the pic....
(Thanks, Members, for putting up with my PTSD.....it's not just me---10's of thousands of veterans go through mind-numbing memories every day.....some handle it better than others, but it's still emotionally painful whether a veteran shows it or not. I just wanted to use this as a soap-box speech for those men and women who can't even talk about the nightmares they went through and re-live in flash-backs.)
